GINSEP (German Indian Startup Exchange Program)
Friederike Behrends serves as the Chairman of the Management Board at Deutsche Postcode Lotterie since January 2022, promoting lotteries for a better world. In addition, Friederike acts as an Honorary Ambassador for the German Indian Startup Exchange Program (GINSEP) and holds the position of Senior Fellow at the Institut für Medien- und Kommunikationspolitik since July 2012. Previous roles include CEO for the German-speaking countries at ZEE5 Global, Zee.One Zee TV, and Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited from 2016 to 2021, as well as Country Manager and Senior Strategy Advisor at Magine from 2013 to 2015. Earlier experience includes serving as CEO at WDR mediagroup digital GmbH and webCOLONY between 2008 and 2012, and membership on the Board at Axel Springer SE from 2001 to 2007. Friederike Behrends holds a law and business degree from The University of Freiburg.

GINSEP (German Indian Startup Exchange Program)
The German Indian Startup Exchange Program (GINSEP) is a not-for-profit platform to bring together all players of the Indo-German startup ecosystem. GINSEP acts as a first point of contact for startups and enablers looking at the respective other market and provides access to networks and expertise. The GINSEP network comprises of 140+ honorary GINSEP Ambassadors, 230+ partner organisations and 1200+ startups. The project is implemented by Beyond Borders Innovation BBI GmbH (www.beyondbordersinnovation.com) in Berlin in co-operation with its partner PrimedinFabrik (www.primedinfabrik.com) in India. The project is supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action.
