Joe Carthy

Joe Carthy is an AI Scientist currently developing machine learning and quantum computing algorithms, drawing on a strong academic background that includes a Master’s in Electronic and Computer Engineering from University College Dublin and ongoing PhD studies at Universidad de Granada. Joe's interests in quantum computing and AI emerged through a Master’s project and were further cultivated during roles at equal1.labs and as a Research Fellow at the University of Notre Dame. Their professional journey includes internships at Three Ireland and Intel Movidius, where they worked on hardware validation and machine learning projects. Joe has also contributed to community engagement initiatives, such as organizing educational talks and participating in charity events.
