Matteo Caorsi has worked for a variety of organizations since 2011. Matteo began their career as a Research Assistant at CERN in 2011, followed by a Stager role at CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives in 2012. In 2013, they were a Teaching Assistant at ETH Zurich, and in 2014 they began a PhD in mathematical physics and geometry at SISSA. Since 2018, they have been the Chief Scientist and Research Scientist & Project Manager at L2F - Learn to Forecast, where their scientific activities encompass a wide variety of numerical modelling techniques, data analysis and machine learning. Matteo has also been involved in knowledge transfer and fostering research collaborations.
Matteo Caorsi began their education in 2002 at Liceo Scientifico. Matteo then went on to earn their Bachelor's degree in Ingegneria fisica from Politecnico di Milano in 2007. From 2010 to 2012, they attended \u00c9cole Polytechnique, where they obtained their Dipl\u00f4me d'ing\u00e9nieur in Physique des Hautes Energies. Matteo then moved on to ETH Z\u00fcrich to pursue a Master's degree in High Energy Physics, which they completed in 2013. In 2013, they also earned their Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria fisica from Politecnico di Milano. Additionally, in 2014, Matteo obtained their DIVEMASTER PADI certification from PADI.
