Sara Contu has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Starting in 2015, they worked as a BSc Traineeship at Università degli Studi di Cagliari. Sara then took on the roles of Genetics Tutor, Applied and Metabolic Biochemistry Tutor, and Orientation Tutor at the same university. In 2018, Sara worked as a Visiting Student at the University of Oxford, where they focused on Bait-based sequencing and droplet-based microfluidics. Sara later joined Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele as a Research Fellow from December 2019 to December 2020.
