Harold Hunt

Harold Hunt is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and cloud architecture. Currently serving as the Director of AI & Infrastructure at GIPHY since June 2024, Harold previously held the position of Senior Principal Cloud Architect at Shutterstock from May 2018 to August 2024, where innovative solutions, such as the MicroApps platform for Next.js applications, were successfully deployed. As the Founder and COO of PwrDrvr LLC, Harold focused on developing mobile applications using React Native. Additional roles include Director of Software Engineering at StrongArm Tech and VP of Software Engineering at E*TRADE, as well as leadership positions at Thomson Reuters, Goldman Sachs, Bloomberg, Starnet Communications, and Lockheed Martin. Harold earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computational Mathematics, both from Michigan State University.
