Marc Leone is the Director of Trust & Safety at Giphy. Marc has over seven years of experience in managing integrity and policy for online communities.

Marc started their career at Meetup, where they were responsible for launching a new set of Community Guidelines, as well as creating and updating policies to govern user activity. Marc also created intuitive workflows to guide policy enforcement teams and build relationships with product managers to advocate for policy considerations in new product launches.

In their time at Meetup, they also identified the need for, and spec'd out, new admin tools for T&S operations Teams and worked with engineers to create them. Marc managed the Integrity and Policy Teams; including the Policy Manager and Integrity Managers. Marc was also responsible for creating, and getting approval for, yearly and quarterly team objectives and key results.

In their role at Giphy, they are responsible for managing integrations with any relevant third party services, which included creating ROI analysis, securing engineering resources, getting approval from leadership, and implementing changes. Marc also investigates and addresses all anomalies in data related to the Integrity Team, including changes in email volume, changes in onsite report volume, and changes in number of blocked accounts.

Marc Leone's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut School of Business, as well as certification as a Climbing Wall Instructor from the American Mountain Guide Association and Wilderness First Responder from SOLO Wilderness Medicine.

They are on a team with Dan Burke - Director of Product, Ralph Bishop - Director of Design. Marc Leone reports to Caroline Huber, VP, Product.
