Shara Teo

Shara Teo is a seasoned leader in organizational and governance roles, currently serving as a Non-Executive Director at LanguageLoop since April 2024 and as Deputy Chair and Non-Executive Director at Gippsland Water since October 2021. With a strong background in union leadership, Shara Teo holds the position of Chief of Staff for the National Secretary of the United Workers Union and previously served as the National Organising Coordinator. Experience includes roles as Lead Organiser and Industrial Officer at the National Union of Workers and a PASS Tutor at Monash University. An education background includes a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, along with various executive education credentials in governance and risk management.
