Itsaso Olaizola Azurmendi

Itsaso Olaizola Azurmendi is a professional with extensive experience in sustainable development and environmental law. Currently serving as Técnico Superior in the Servicio de Participación Ciudadana at Gipuzkoako Foru Aldundia, Itsaso has previously held positions at UDAKO EUSKAL UNIBERTSITATEA as an academic member and instructor, and at KUTXA EKOGUNEA, where responsibilities included leading cultural and linguistic diversity strategies and managing the Sustainable Development department. Experience also includes advisory roles at Eusko Jaurlaritza, and leadership in sustainable development initiatives at EUSKO IKASKUNTZA. Itsaso's academic background includes law and economics from the University of Deusto, a master's degree in Environmental Law from the Universidad del País Vasco, and an LL.M. in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from Lewis & Clark College.
