Ameera A. currently serves as the Global Co-Lead for Arabs@ Spotify and as a Software Engineer II since January 2022. Additionally, Ameera is an Ambassador for GirlCode® and was recognized as an EmTechMIT 2022 Scholarship Winner by MIT Technology Review for outstanding application. Previously, Ameera worked at Reply as a Senior Technical Consultant and Technical Consultant from August 2016 to December 2021. Ameera also gained experience as a Web Development Instructor and Research Fellow at Code First Girls from April 2021 to June 2021. Ameera holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Queen Mary University of London.

GirlCode® is an Online Women-In-Tech Community and Technology Consultancy. We are on a mission to close the gender tech gap so keeping our member working in the Industry! We know that female engineers can sometimes feel underrepresented in today's market so we wanted to create a community to provide support whilst helping to propel your career in the right direction.
