Phoebe Abeles

Phoebe Abeles currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at the Girl Scouts of Greater New York, a position held since July 2024. Prior experience includes roles at The College of New Jersey, where Phoebe was a Peer Tutor, College Ambassador, and African Girlhoods Research Fellow, focusing on various academic subjects and contributing to the creation of a special journal on African girls. Additional internships at WRTHY and We Are Loved Nonprofit involved strategic development, advocacy, and research support in initiatives related to social impact and foster youth support. Phoebe's earlier work experience includes management and lifeguarding at Loeffler Pools Management and volunteer roles in various organizations, with a focus on fundraising and educational advocacy. Phoebe holds a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from The College of New Jersey and participated in the Italy Center program at Spring Hill College.
