Witz Romero Carrizales has extensive experience in executive operations and community education, currently serving as Chief of Staff at the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council since November 2017, where multiple roles have included Vice President, Executive Operations and Director of the Office of the CEO. Prior to this, Witz worked as an Adult Education Teacher at the Latin American Coalition, teaching computer basics in Spanish, and gained customer service experience as a Hostess at Mimosa Grill. Additional experience includes a Latina Initiative Intern position with the Girl Scouts, Charlotte Hornet's Nest Council. Witz holds two Bachelor's degrees in Communication and Spanish Language and Literature from Queens University of Charlotte.

Girl Scouts of Citrus Council is a not-for-profit organization chartered in 1956 - following the founder Juliette Gordon Low's guidelines - serving girls throughout Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia counties since 1956. In Girl Scouting positive female leaders are the norm, not the exception. We help more than 16,000 girls a year in the Central Florida area to be their very best! One out of every seven girls in our area is a Girl Scout. The council is a charter member of Girl Scouts of the USA- the world's preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls - all girls - and a member of the following United Ways:
