Jessica Miller has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Jessica began their career as a Human Resources Administrative Assistant at the Ma. Coalition for Juvenile Firesetter Intervention Programs from 2000 to 2005. Jessica then worked at Family Service of Rhode Island, starting as a Human Resources Administrative Assistant in 2005 and later progressing to the role of Human Resources Generalist. Jessica also owned and operated Virtual Office Projects from 2005 to 2014, providing virtual and local administrative assistant services.

In 2015, Jessica joined the Girl Scouts of Eastern MA as a Human Resources Coordinator, where they gained experience in full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration. Jessica was later promoted to the position of Human Resources Manager in 2018, and subsequently served as the Associate Director of Human Resources. In these roles, they demonstrated their skills in strategic planning, compliance, employee communications, performance management, and HRIS/ATS systems management.

Jessica also has experience outside of the HR field. Jessica worked as a Health & Wellness Lifestyle Coach at The Plant-Based Professional from 2017 to 2021, assisting professional women in reversing prediabetes through plant-based living.

Currently, Jessica is the Human Resources Director at the Girl Scouts of Eastern MA, where they continue to utilize their diverse HR expertise and provide excellent service to employees while achieving organizational goals.

Jessica Miller, SHRM-CP, has a diverse education history. Jessica is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus in Human Resources at Southern New Hampshire University, expected to be completed in 2019.

In 2017, Jessica obtained a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, in collaboration with eCornell.

Jessica previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Rhode Island College, and an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree and a certificate in Early Childhood Education from the Community College of Denver.

In addition to their formal education, Jessica holds several certifications. Jessica obtained a Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in December 2021. Jessica also holds certifications in Employee Experience from LinkedIn, Inclusive and Ethical Leadership from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, Certified Health and Wellness Coach (HWC) from AFPA American Fitness Professionals & Associates, and Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies.
