Brenda Marsian, CFRE, is an accomplished fundraising and development professional with extensive experience in leading philanthropic efforts for various organizations. Currently serving as Chief Philanthropy Officer for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri, Brenda oversees a four-person team and implements strategic initiatives to enhance donor engagement and support. Previous roles include Vice President for Development & Communications at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford, where Brenda was responsible for raising over $6 million annually, and Chief Development Officer at Wakeman Boys & Girls Club, where a significant capital campaign saw a $10 million increase in funding. Brenda's career spans notable positions in institutional advancement at the Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA, Springfield College, and several other institutions, contributing to multi-million dollar campaigns and the establishment of sustainable fundraising infrastructure. Brenda holds a Master of Arts in Communications from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Western New England University.
