Kristin Dodd

Kristin Dodd has extensive experience in leadership, public relations, and meteorology. Currently serving as Troop Leader and Volunteer for Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, Inc. since August 2000, Kristin guides three troops from Kindergarten to Middle School and has received the Troop Leader of the Year award. Previous roles include Membership Specialist focused on recruitment and organizing troop activities for 2,000 girls in Cobb County, Media Relations for Chattahoochee GOLD Swim, and a successful career as an On-Camera Meteorologist with The Weather Channel, where Kristin delivered weather reports to over one million viewers. Additional experience includes managing news teams at various television stations and serving in leadership roles at multiple Girl Scout camps. Kristin holds a degree in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University and a BA in Telecommunications, Journalism, and Business from Indiana University Bloomington.
