Girl Scouts of North East Ohio
Jane Christyson has over three decades of experience in various leadership roles. Jane began their career in 1980 as a Section Director at United Way of Greater Cleveland, where they were responsible for managing volunteers and fundraising efforts. In 1984, they became the Executive Director of the Rainbow Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, overseeing operations and fundraising initiatives. Jane then joined Cleveland Metroparks in 1989 and held several positions, including Director of Marketing, where they managed multiple divisions and contributed to the park district's brand growth. Since 2013, they have served as the Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts of North East Ohio, leading the organization's strategic direction and fostering community partnerships.
Jane Christyson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Cleveland State University, where they attended from 1975 to 1979. Additionally, they obtained a certification called the Gold Award from Girl Scouts of the USA in 2019.

In partnership with committed adults, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives - like strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth.
