Edwin Barreto is currently the CFO for Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey Inc. Prior to that, they were the Controller for YWCA Bergen County from January 2014 to March 2016. Edwin has also held the position of Chief Business Officer for Mercy Home for Children and Comptroller for Sinergia, Inc. In their early career, they were the Assistant Comptroller for Association for Metroarea Autistic Children, Inc. Edwin has always had a passion for numbers and helping others, which is what drew him to their current position with Girl Scouts. Edwin is excited to be able to help such a great organization in any way they can.
Edwin Barreto's educational career began with an accounting and business/management degree from Wiley CMA Review. Edwin then went on to earn their Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) from FMA. After working in the accounting and business/management field for a few years, they decided to return to school to earn their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Phoenix. Finally, they earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in accounting from American University of Puerto Rico.
Their manager is Sandra A. Kenoff, President & CEO. Nancy Dimeo - Bookkeeper, Linda O'Sullivan - Accountant report to Edwin Barreto.
