Mary Zappone

Mary Zappone is the current director at Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council. Prior to this position, they were the CEO and board director at BRACE Industrial Group from October 2017 to July 2021. BRACE Industrial Group is a leading provider of industrial construction services, including scaffolding, insulation, fireproofing, heat tracing, industrial siding and decking, coatings, lead/asbestos abatement and refractory. Zappone was also previously the president and CEO at Service Champ from November 2015 to September 2017. Service Champ is the largest specialty distributor of automotive aftermarket maintenance parts to quick lube shops. Under their leadership, the company saw a 17% growth in revenue and a 34% improvement in EBITDA.

Mary Zappone has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Columbia Business School, and a High School Diploma in Chemical Engineering from Eleanor Roosevelt Science and Technology Center. Mary is also certified by the NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) in NACD Directorship Certification, NACD Cyber Risk Oversight Certification (CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight), and NACD Governance Fellow.
