Alison Granito has a diverse work experience. Alison started their career as a Managing Editor at Greater Media Newspapers in 2000 and held this position until 2004. Then, they worked as a Financial Reporter and Editor at Private Equity International from April 2006 to November 2006. From November 2006 to December 2007, they served as a Reporter at Mint. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Journalist for various national and international media outlets from October 2006 to December 2008.
In 2008, Alison joined Mercy Corps' Action Center to End World Hunger as a Web Manager and worked there until July 2010. Following this, they joined Girl Scouts of the USA and held several positions. From April 2010 to January 2015, they worked as a Senior Editor, Digital. Then, they became the Senior Director, Content and Creative from January 2015 to July 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director, Brand Strategy at Girl Scouts of the USA, starting in September 2022 with an ongoing duration.
Alison Granito holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Rutgers University.
