Allison Owczarczak has extensive experience in environmental education and program management, currently serving as Property Manager for the Girl Scouts of Western New York since September 2017. Prior to this role, Allison held multiple positions at the Pocono Environmental Education Center from March 2007 to August 2017, including Director of Education, where responsibilities included recruiting and supervising staff and managing departmental budgets. Earlier experience also includes roles at the YMCA of Greater New York as a Naturalist Instructor and various program specialist positions at the McKeever Environmental Learning Center. Allison holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Education from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and an Associate of Science in Natural Resources and Conservation from the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Morrisville.

Girl Scouts of Western New York, the preeminent girl leadership organization, currently serves 15,000 girls and 7,000 adult volunteers. Adult volunteers conduct a variety of age-appropriate programs and opportunities for girls at the troop and service unit level. Girls also participate in council-wide projects.
