Judy Cranston began their work experience in 1980 with Eastman Kodak Company, where they held various leadership roles in manufacturing and supply chain until 2001. From 2001 to 2009, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Hover-Davis Inc. Following that, they joined Girl Scouts of Western New York in 2009 and held the position of Chief Operating Officer until 2015, and then transitioned to the role of Chief Executive Officer. In 2019, Judy retired from their professional career.
Judy Cranston completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Rochester Institute of Technology from 1979 to 1984. Judy then pursued their Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Rochester Institute of Technology between 1990 and 1993.

Girl Scouts of Western New York, the preeminent girl leadership organization, currently serves 15,000 girls and 7,000 adult volunteers. Adult volunteers conduct a variety of age-appropriate programs and opportunities for girls at the troop and service unit level. Girls also participate in council-wide projects. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
