Susan Mackowski possesses a diverse background with extensive experience in both finance and outdoor education. Currently serving as a Finance and Insurance Assistant at Joe Basil Chevrolet since October 2019, Susan has also held multiple roles at Girl Scouts of Western New York from June 2010 to the present, including Ropes Course Trainer and Community Partner Specialist. Previous positions include Program Director at Y M C A Camp Weona, Substitute Teacher's Aid at Stanley G Falk School, and various roles in customer service and education. Susan earned a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration from Buffalo State University and an Associate's degree in Hospitality Management and Business Accounting from Niagara County Community College.

Girl Scouts of Western New York, the preeminent girl leadership organization, currently serves 15,000 girls and 7,000 adult volunteers. Adult volunteers conduct a variety of age-appropriate programs and opportunities for girls at the troop and service unit level. Girls also participate in council-wide projects. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
