Emma Topham

Emma Topham possesses extensive experience in early years education and research, currently serving as the Insight and Evaluation Lead at Girlguiding since December 2018, following progressive roles within the organization as Insight Officer, Insight Assistant, and Research and Insight Intern. Prior experiences include working as an Early Years Practitioner at Cherry Tree Primary School and Warren Dell Primary, where Emma contributed to curriculum development and supported children with English as an additional language. At St Thomas' Pre-School, responsibilities included serving as a SENCO and developing collaborative relationships with parents and professionals. Emma holds a PhD in Sociolinguistics, an MA by Research in Child Language, and an undergraduate degree in English Language and Communication with English Language Teaching, all from the University of Hertfordshire.
