John Greenwood

John Greenwood has extensive experience in risk management and compliance. John is currently serving as Head of Enterprise Risk at Girlguiding since October 2021. Before that, they held the position of Governance and Performance Lead at Asthma UK and the British Lung Foundation from September 2020 to October 2021. Prior to that, they were the Risk and Compliance Manager at Asthma UK from January 2020 to September 2020. John also worked at Age UK as a Senior Risk and Compliance Officer from November 2017 to June 2018, and as a Compliance Officer from January 2015 to October 2017. John began their career at the Royal Variety Charity, where they served as a Compliance and Property Manager from November 2011 to November 2014, and as a Compliance Officer from December 2010 to November 2011.

John Greenwood's education history begins with their undergraduate degree at the University of Roehampton, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Health from 2006 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Health and Community from the same university, completing the program from 2009 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, John obtained the International Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management in March 2017.
