Melissa Buchanan

Melissa Buchanan is an experienced content and communications professional with a diverse background in digital content creation and marketing. Currently serving as an Associate Content Designer at Girlguiding since May 2023, Melissa previously held the position of Internal Communications Officer at SOAS University of London from October 2019 to May 2023. Prior roles include Digital Content Assistant at Goldsmiths, University of London, and Social Media Marketing Intern at Lizzie Loves. Melissa began a marketing career as a Marketing Executive for Sussex ACS, where successful campaigns significantly increased student engagement. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Sussex, completed in 2016, and attended Prendergast Hilly Fields College from 2005 to 2013.
