Ashlynn Samuel

AshLynn Samuel, LIMHP, CPC, is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as the Director of Community Engagement and Counseling at Girls Inc. since November 2016. In this role, AshLynn leads the Community Engagement team, focusing on volunteer efforts, mentoring, and social-emotional learning. Previous positions include School-Based Behavioral Health Therapist at Charles Drew Health Center, Therapist I at Heartland Family Service, and roles at NCHS as Family Resource Specialist and Teen Education Coordinator. AshLynn also has a background as a Family Permanency Specialist at KVC Health Systems and Nebraska Families Collaborative, providing case management for youth in the legal system, and began the professional journey as a Paraprofessional in Omaha Public Schools. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Community Counseling and an ongoing Master of Science in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Peru State College.
