Elvia Perez currently serves as a Venture Associate at Inicio, an organization focused on closing the US Latinx wealth gap through entrepreneurship. Elvia has a diverse background in venture capital and impact investing, participating in programs like Techstars Impact and co-directing the Girls Into VC Fellowship. As the Founder of EmpowerU, Elvia empowers students with resources for college and career readiness. Previous experiences include an Investment Banking Analyst role at Barclays, co-founding the Latinx Students in Business & Leadership group at Brown University, and completing a Summer Venture in Management program at Harvard Business School. Elvia holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Brown University, where Elvia was also the commencement speaker.
