Girls Leadership
Jennifer Wert is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education, coaching, and wellness consulting. Currently serving as a Business Member at HeyMama since January 2023, Jennifer also operates a parent coaching practice that supports parents of toddlers to elementary-aged children in adopting conscious parenting methods. As Colorado Outreach Manager & Educator for Girls Leadership, Jennifer successfully managed various programs and achieved significant sales goals. Jennifer’s background includes roles as a Health and Wellness Consultant, where individualized childbirth education and yoga instruction were provided, and previous positions such as Event Manager and Deputy Director in non-profit organizations. With a Master's degree in Education from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Jennifer combines a strong educational foundation with a passion for empowering families and communities.
Girls Leadership
Girls Leadership teaches girls how to exercise the power of their voice through programs grounded in social-emotional learning. We provide programs for girls, workshops for families, and professional development training for teachers, guidance counselors, and non-profit staff. We center gender and racial equity in our work to address the internal and external barriers to leadership development. Our work is structured around four central values: Authentic Communication, Courageous Growth, Equity, and Play. Girls includes anyone who identifies as a girl, as well as non-binary and gender expansive youth
