Content And Marketing Director at GIRLS' LIFE magazine

Katherine Hammer has a diverse range of work experience. Katherine started their career as a Private Tutor, assisting elementary, middle, and high school students with test preparation and homework help. Katherine then transitioned to working as a Student Teacher and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Metro Nashville Public Schools and Vanderbilt University, respectively.

In 2015, Katherine gained experience as an After-School Program Assistant at University School of Nashville and as a Summer Camp Intern at Cheekwood. Katherine further expanded their skill set as a Camp Counselor at Tripp Lake Camp in 2014.

In 2018, Katherine took on the role of Founder at Everly Mag before moving on to become an After-School Teacher at Friends Select School. Katherine then joined Brat as an Editorial Assistant and later became a Content Strategist, overseeing all digital editorial content for the Brat TV website.

Since 2019, Katherine has been working at GIRLS' LIFE magazine, initially as a Content and Marketing Assistant and an Influencer Programs Coordinator. Katherine was later promoted to Associate Editor and currently holds the position of Content and Marketing Director.

Katherine Hammer completed their Education History with a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Elementary Education and Teaching from Vanderbilt University in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature with a minor in Psychology from Vanderbilt University in 2016. In 2015, they also studied Global Literature at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad. Katherine completed their high school education at Moorestown Friends School and also had a brief study period at Northwestern University in 2011.
