Julio Chávez is the current Manager of Programmatic Events at Girls Who Code. Prior to this, they worked as an English Second Language Tutor at Nao Now Tutoring from August 2021 to December 2021. Before that, they were an Assistant Producer, Education at The Moth from January 2019 to November 2021. In this role, they managed the production of the week-long Moth Teacher Institute, reviewed participant applications, delegated tasks to teammates, and assessed timeline for project deadlines.
