Rishi Mutalik

Associate, Operations at Girls Who Code

Rishi Mutalik is currently an Associate at Girls Who Code in their Operations department. Prior to that, Rishi worked as an Office and Technical Associate on the People and Culture team at Girls Who Code from August 2019 to June 2020. In this role, Rishi was responsible for managing office projects and providing technical support to employees, as well as supervising technological inventory and office supplies. Rishi also helped manage building processes including mailroom operation and facility tours, and worked with multiple teams on streamlining operations and system processes. Additionally, Rishi served on Girls Who Code’s Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion committee, and managed a COVID Wellness program to check in on employee’s mental health during the pandemic.

Before working at Girls Who Code, Rishi was a Health Educator in Standardized Patient Program at Yale University School of Medicine. Additionally, Rishi has experience as a Community Organizer with Citizens Campaign for the Environment and as a Development/Journalistic Intern with Starfish Media Group. Finally, Rishi was also a Skimm'bassador with theSkimm from February 2016 to February 2017.

Rishi Mutalik received their high school diploma from Amity Regional High School. Rishi then went on to Bard College where they earned their bachelor's degree in political science and theatre with a concentration in global and international studies.
