Tim Spurr

Tim Spurr is an experienced professional in the field of civil engineering, specializing in transportation modeling and demand forecasting. Currently serving as Propriétaire de produit and Analyste-conseil expert at GIRO since October 2018, Tim has previously held significant roles at Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain as Conseiller expert - modélisation and at Agence Métropolitaine de Transport as Expert - analyses et modélisation. Notable contributions include the design and maintenance of demand forecasting models, participation in major public transport project studies, development of modal transfer models, and data analysis involving smart card technology. Tim's career began at Ville de Montréal, where Tim worked as Ingénieur en modélisation, focusing on road network modeling and infrastructure database construction. Tim holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, as well as a Master of Engineering (MEng) and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng), both in Civil Engineering from McGill University.
