Alex Kwan

Alex Kwan has a diverse work experience spanning over four decades in the infrastructure and engineering industry.

Alex began their career as an Engineer with the Hong Kong Government in 1982 and worked there for nine years. Alex then joined CH2M HILL as a Senior Engineer from 1991 to 1996.

In 1997, Alex Kwan moved to AECOM Asia, where they held the position of Executive Vice President for 16 years until 2013. During their time at AECOM Asia, they played a key role in the company's growth and success.

In 2013, they joined AECOM as the Chief Executive for Greater China, a position they held until 2020. During their tenure, they were responsible for leading and overseeing the company's operations and projects in the Greater China region.

From 2017 to 2020, Alex Kwan worked as the Executive Director of Engineering & Technology at Airport Authority Hong Kong. In this role, they contributed to the development and management of infrastructure projects at the airport.

Currently, they hold the position of Chief Executive Officer/Asia at Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc., a role they assumed in 2020. Alex'svast experience and leadership skills make him well-suited for this position, where they oversee the company's operations and strategic initiatives in the Asian market.

Alex Kwan pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering from The University of Hong Kong from 1979 to 1982. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London, studying from 1989 to 1990.
