Mikael Gislén (He/Him)

Mikael Gislén has a diverse work experience starting with their role as a Programmer at Compumatic from June 1981 to July 1982. Mikael then worked as a System Analyst/Programmer at Minfo AB, developing packaged solutions from 1984 to 1986. Mikael joined Safir Software AB as a Manager in charge of consulting work for Stockholm Municipality MFO, where they managed projects related to warehouse management, vehicle maintenance systems, and asset management from January 1988 to August 1993. In 1994, Mikael started their own company called Gislen Software Private Limited, where they currently serve as the Managing Director, overseeing its successful growth and employing close to 50 individuals. Additionally, Mikael is involved in expanding their business by establishing branch offices: Gislen Software AB in Sweden, where they serve as a Director, and GISLEN SOFTWARE (UK) LIMITED in the UK, where they hold the position of Director. In 2019, they took on the position of Chief Technical Officer at Dineflow.

Mikael Gislén has a varied education history. Mikael started with a high school education at Falkenbergs Gymnasieskola, completing the Science Program from 1979 to 1981. Mikael then attended the University of Gothenburg to study Mathematics from 1983 to 1984. Mikael later enrolled at Chalmers University of Technology from 1984 to 1986, specializing in Teknisk Fysik / Engineering Physics. Continuing their education, they studied Business Administration and Development Studies at Uppsala University from 1999 to 2002, though they did not obtain a degree. Mikael later pursued a degree in Economics (Business Administration) at Örebro University from 2006 to 2010. Finally, they completed their education at the Blekinge Institute of Technology where they obtained their M. Sc. in Computer Science (120 ECTS) from 2011 to 2016, specializing in Informatics.
