Gautam Korlam is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Co-Founder at Gitar since December 2023, Gautam previously held various positions at Uber from June 2014 to November 2023, culminating as Principal Engineer. During the tenure at Uber, significant contributions were made, including the training of open-source LLMs for code accuracy and the consolidation of build infrastructure, which led to a notable increase in developer NPS. Prior experience includes roles at Lookout, Microsoft, and Oracle, with a strong focus on mobile infrastructure and performance improvements. Gautam holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor of Technology (Honors) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
