Allie Thu is a seasoned professional in accessibility design with extensive experience in guiding teams to create accessible digital products. Currently serving as the Director of Accessibility Design at GitHub since August 2021, Allie has previously held multiple roles in accessibility design, including Senior Manager and Senior Designer. Prior experience includes over a decade at Zappos Family of Companies, where Allie contributed as a Senior Accessibility Experience Designer and played a key role in various design and development projects, including transitioning email systems and leading marketing initiatives. Allie's career began at JC&C Wireless as Marketing Director, and educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Nevada, Reno.
