Brent Wagener

Brent Wagener is an experienced information security professional currently serving as a Principal Field Security Specialist at GitHub since August 2022. Prior roles include Regional Information Security Officer at CHANEL, and Information Protection and Governance at Philip Morris International. With significant experience in cyber security and investigations at Kroll, Brent has also held positions as an Information Security Officer and Infrastructure Engineer at Citi, and began their career as a Software Developer at Linc Media. Brent holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems from Western Washington University, completed between 1997 and 2000.
