Dennie Bates

Dennie Bates is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in enterprise sales and customer success. Currently serving as Director of Enterprise Sales LATAM at GitHub since April 2015, Dennie has held various roles at the company, including Senior Manager and Enterprise Sales Manager. In addition, Dennie contributes as a mentor at First Round Fast Track since January 2022. Prior to GitHub, Dennie worked at Moovweb as a Senior Engagement Manager, where expertise was utilized in a cloud-based platform focused on mobile solutions. Earlier career experience includes roles at Macy's as Assistant Merchandise Manager and Site Merchandise Coordinator, as well as a position as Legal Assistant at Van Der Hout, Brigagliano, and Nightingale LLP. Dennie holds a degree in Media Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
