Joa Kim-Chen

Joa Kim-Chen 김조아 serves as the Director of Workplace Experience and Microsoft GWS Regional Lead at GitHub since March 2020, leading global Workplace Experience strategy and operations. Previous roles include Senior Regional Manager and Workplace Operations Manager at GitHub, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing workplace operations for multiple regions, managing supplier contracts, and enhancing employee experience through effective policies and procedures. Prior to GitHub, Joa Kim-Chen worked at Amazon in roles such as Program Manager for Live Events and Twitch Office Manager, expertly managing large-scale events and workplace environments. Joa Kim-Chen began a career in administrative roles at Philips, and holds a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology from Seattle Pacific University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Washington.
