Lars Schneider

Lars Schneider is a seasoned professional in software engineering with a focus on DevOps and Git solutions. Currently serving as a Principal DevOps Engineer at GitHub since June 2018, Lars facilitates successful company operations with Git and GitHub. Prior experience includes roles at Autodesk, where as Technical Lead for Git Solutions, Lars enhanced productivity for over 4000 engineers and managed the migration of numerous projects to Git. Lars has developed extensive applications in mobile and web, particularly in 3D infrastructure modeling and data analytics, and has held various software development positions in companies like 6Wunderkinder GmbH and SAP. Lars holds a Master's and Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from the Hasso-Plattner-Institute.
