Leo Balter

Leo Balter is a seasoned Senior Product Manager currently leading the npm team at GitHub since March 2024, focusing on the development and reliability of the largest JavaScript package registry. Prior to this role, Leo served as a Senior Product Manager at Salesforce, contributing to the LWC Framework and web standards. Additional experience includes significant contributions to Ecma International as Vice Chair of TC39, Editor of the ECMA-402 specification, and Maintainer of Test262. Leo's past positions also encompass roles at Bocoup, where involvement with web standards and leadership in TC39 took place, as well as development leadership with QUnit in the jQuery Project. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Tax Management, a postgraduate degree in Software Engineering, and studies in Labor Law and Law.
