Margaret Tucker

Margaret Tucker has a robust background in public policy and research, currently serving as a Public Policy Manager at GitHub since November 2021, previously holding the position of Platform Policy Analyst. Prior to this role, Margaret was a Science Policy Fellow at the Institute for Defense Analyses from July 2020 to September 2021, and a Research Associate at New America from September 2019 to July 2020. Prior experiences also include a Junior Fellow position at the Congressional Research Service in the summer of 2019, a Future of War Research Fellow at New America from August 2016 to May 2018, and a Research and Policy Intern at the Eurasia Partnership Foundation in Azerbaijan in 2017. Additionally, Margaret held a Junior Fellow role at the National Science Foundation from January to May 2017.
