Neha Batra

Neha Batra is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product management. Currently serving as VP of Engineering - Core Productivity at GitHub since December 2017, Neha has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including Sr Director of Engineering for Communities, where significant contributions were made to GitHub Desktop and CLI products. Neha is also a Board Member for the Rails Foundation and a Board Advisor for OnLoop, focusing on enhancing team dynamics through GenAI solutions. Previous experience includes senior engineering roles at Pivotal Labs, Floored, Rent The Runway, and PA Consulting, with a strong academic background in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
