Shane Daniels

Shane Daniels is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as a SIRT Detection Engineer at GitHub since November 2018. Prior to this role, Shane worked at Salisbury University as both an Information Security Architect and Information Security Engineer from June 2016 to November 2018. Earlier experience includes positions at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore as Information Security Manager and Network Manager from November 2010 to June 2016, as well as serving as a Network Administrator for Worcester County Maryland from November 2003 to November 2010. Shane holds a Master of Science in Digital Forensics and Cyber Investigations from the University of Maryland Global Campus (2013-2015) and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Towson University (1998-2002).
