Lucas Valtl

Lucas Valtl began their career in 2013 as a Marketing Manager for SwingBy, an IT start-up from Maastricht. In 2014, they took on a role as a Private Tutor for Maastricht University. In 2015, they joined Project A Ventures as a New Business Analyst and Business Development Analyst. In 2017, Lucas joined Improbable as a Lead Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, and Product Analyst. Finally, in 2022 they became a Senior Product Manager for Gitpod.

Lucas Valtl obtained a Bachelor of Science with Cum Laude from Maastricht University School of Business and Economics in the field of International Business from 2012 to 2015. Lucas then completed an International Programe in Management at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services in 2015. Lucas followed this with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) with Distinction & on Dean’s List from UCL in Computer Science from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from Coursera and Lynda.com, including Principles of Game Design, Introduction to Game Development, Introducing PHP, HTML Essential Training, and JavaScript Essential Training.
