Mike Brevoort

Mike Brevoort has worked in the technology industry for over 20 years. Mike began their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at First USA Bank. In 2000, they moved to Bentley Systems as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2001, they joined LiquidHub as a Practice Manager, helping to grow the technology services consulting startup from 4 to 150 employees. In 2004, they were Manager of Web Development and Application Architecture at Catholic Health Initiatives. From 2007 to 2014, they worked at Avalon Consulting, LLC, where they were the Enterprise Web Practice Lead. In 2014, they joined Robots and Pencils as CTO. In 2015, they founded and was CEO/Founder of Missions, which was acquired by Slack in 2018. At Slack, Mike held the roles of Head of Product, Developer Platform Experience, Principal Engineer, and Director Software Engineering, Platform. In 2022, they began their current role as Chief Product Officer and Head of Product at Gitpod.

Mike Brevoort attended the University of Delaware from 1994 to 1998, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
