John Nichols

John Nichols is the current Director at Give Kids The World. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Construction Renewable Services at Wanzek Construction, Inc from December 2016 to April 2019. John was brought into the organization as a key member of the executive leadership team to establish the renewable services business and played a key role in achieving operational growth from 10 field service technicians to 200+ cross-functional employees. John added 60 new clients and increased market share; opened 2 new service facilities in Amarillo, TX and Palm Springs, CA. Generated an additional $50M+ in new revenue in 2.5 years by leveraging industry contacts to secure new business, expanding relationships, and adding new service offerings. John contributed to consistent YOY growth by leading the division from $6M to $50M in 2 years; developed a strategy to increase the company’s total revenue to $1B by year-end 2020. Prior to that, they were the Field Engineering Manager Major Projects - Heavy Lifts at Siemens Energy, Inc from November 2015 to April 2016.

John Nichols has an Associate Applied Science from Vermont Technical College, a Certification from Project Management Institute, a Certificate from CertTest Training Center, a Certificate from Villanova University, a Private Pilot from Tradewinds Flight School, an AAS from Texas State Technical College, and a Certification from Procore Technologies in Procore Certified: Project Manager (Core Tools) and 11352 in Project Management Professional.
