Leith Baker

Leith Baker is a social entrepreneur, innovator, and humanitarian with extensive experience in data and technology supporting humanitarian efforts globally. They founded mFieldwork, a data firm that assisted humanitarian and development programs in 16 countries, and served in various roles at the Norwegian Refugee Council and the United Nations OCHA. Currently, Leith is a lecturer in Data Science at the UVA School of Data Science and a Senior Product Director at GiveDirectly, while having previously co-founded BUbooks.com. Leith holds a BA in Economics and Anthropology from Boston University and an MA from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs.
