Rohullah Zarif

Rohullah joins GiveDirectly from the US Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan, where he supported the US Ambassador and other mission principals with protocol related matters. He has worked for the Afghan government for more than 16 years, including as Senior Assistant to the Ambassador of Afghanistan in Tajikistan, Administrative officer and Assistant to the cultural Attaché of the Afghan Embassy in Dushanbe. He has also worked as a reporter for Ariana TV of Afghanistan. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics and has research experience in international relations.
