Zack Tarhouni

Zack Tarhouni is a Technical Program Associate and Data Coordinator at GiveDirectly since August 2022. Previously served as an Auxiliar de Conversación at Junta de Andalucía, providing in-class English instruction from October 2020 to June 2022. Prior experience includes roles as an Economics Analyst at Community Attributes Inc. and a Program Intern at the Pacific NorthWest Economic Region (PNWER), where involvement focused on economic development and environmental stewardship in the Pacific Northwest. Academic contributions include work as an Undergraduate Researcher for the UNFPA's report on gender-based violence and reproductive health, and an internship with the UNDP on political dialogue in Libya. Zack also held leadership positions with PIRG Campus Action and Fund for the Public Interest. Zack holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Washington, completed in 2017.
