Jana Schroeder

Community and Accessibility Success Specialist at GivePulse

Jana Schroeder has been working in the field of community engagement since 1989. Jana began their career as the Ohio Criminal Justice Program Director for the American Friends Service Committee. In 2004, they started working for Earlham College as the Director of Community Engagement and Bonner Scholars Program Coordinator. In 2021, they began working for Earlham School of Religion as a Grant Consultant, assisting in securing a $1 million Pathways for Tomorrow grant from the Lilly Endowment. Jana also started working for GivePulse, Inc. as the Community and Accessibility Success Specialist, providing outreach and support to higher ed customers and performing accessibility testing. Her work at GivePulse is dedicated to enabling everyone in the world to participate and engage in lifting their community to new heights.

Jana Schroeder has an education history that includes an M.Ed. from Earlham College in Education from 2010 to 2012 and a B.A. from Earlham College in Sociology/Anthropology and Theirtory from 1981 to 1985. Jana also holds certifications from Freedom Scientific (JAWS Certified, 2021), Gallup Strengths-Based Educator (July 2015), IAAP - International Association of Accessibility Professionals (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC), 2022), and International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP Certified Professionals in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC), 2022).
